How IPTV setup works
Whatever device you use, setting up IPTV follows the same three steps:
- Install an IPTV player. This is a free or low-cost app that plays your channels – for example IPTV Smarters, TiviMate or IBO Player. MAG boxes and Formuler boxes already have one built in.
- Add your Elitnes login. You type in the details we send you, or we link your subscription to your device’s MAC address.
- Watch. The app loads your live channels, films, series and the TV guide (EPG).

Which login details will you get?
After you buy a plan or request a free trial, we send your details on WhatsApp. Depending on your device and app, you will use one of these:
- Xtream Codes login – a server URL, a username and a password. This works in most IPTV apps and is the one we recommend.
- M3U playlist link – a single web address containing all your channels, used by apps such as VLC, Kodi and MyIPTV Player.
- Portal URL – for MAG boxes, Formuler boxes and some Smart TV apps, linked to your device’s MAC address.
Before you start
- Check your internet speed. We recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, on the device itself.
- Use a cable if you can. Ethernet is the most reliable connection for live sport. On Wi-Fi, use the 5 GHz network.
- Keep WhatsApp open on your phone so you can copy and paste your login, which avoids typing mistakes.
- Update your device – TV and streaming-stick updates often fix app problems before they start.
Tip: IPTV player apps come and go from app stores. If an app isn’t available on your device, message us on WhatsApp and we will recommend one that works.

How to watch IPTV on Xbox
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Xbox and install MyIPTV Player.
- Open Settings > Add new playlist and EPG source.
- Name the playlist, paste your M3U link in Remote channel list and select Add remote list.
- Back in Settings, select your new playlist, then open the channel list to start watching.
How to add IPTV to Kodi
- In Kodi, go to Add-ons > Install from repository > PVR clients > PVR IPTV Simple Client and select Install.
- Open the add-on, choose Configure, set Location to Remote path (Internet address) and paste your M3U link.
- Under EPG, paste the TV guide link we send you.
- Select OK, restart Kodi and open TV from the main menu.
Quick troubleshooting
- Buffering or freezing: restart your router and device, switch to Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and clear the app’s cache.
- “Invalid login”: usernames and passwords are case-sensitive; paste them from WhatsApp, and include
http://and any port in the server URL. - Empty TV guide: choose Update EPG or Refresh TV guide in the app’s settings and wait a few minutes.

IPTV setup FAQ
Which device is best for IPTV?
For most people, an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K or a good Android TV box gives the best mix of price, apps and picture quality. If your TV is a recent Samsung or LG, you may not need a box at all.
Do I have to pay for the IPTV app?
Many apps are free. Some, especially on Smart TVs and Apple devices, charge a small fee to their developer after a trial. That is separate from your Elitnes plan.
Can I install Elitnes on more than one device?
Yes, as many as you like. Your plan sets how many can watch at the same time: 1, 2 or 3. See multi-room IPTV.
How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes on phones and 10 minutes on TVs and streaming sticks. MAG boxes take a little longer because we activate the MAC address first.
My device isn’t listed – will it work?
If it can run an app that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists, it will almost certainly work. Message us the device name and we will check.
