Quick answer: to watch IPTV on a computer:
- Download IPTV Smarters from its official website (Windows or Mac), or MyIPTV Player from the Microsoft Store.
- Install and open it.
- Choose Xtream Codes and enter your Elitnes login, or paste your M3U link.
- Pick a channel and press play.
What you need before you start
- A Windows PC or a Mac with an up-to-date operating system.
- Your Elitnes login and M3U link, sent on WhatsApp after you choose a plan or request a free trial. WhatsApp Web or the desktop app makes copying them easy.
- A wired or strong Wi-Fi connection.
Option 1: IPTV Smarters for Windows and Mac
Download from the official website
Go to the IPTV Smarters official website and download the Windows or macOS version. Only download desktop players from their developer’s own site or an official app store.
Install and open it
Run the installer. On Windows, if SmartScreen shows a warning, check the publisher name before continuing. On Mac, drag the app to Applications.
Sign in with Xtream Codes
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API, paste your server URL, username and password, and click Add user.
Watch in a window or full screen
Choose Live TV, pick a channel and double-click the video to go full screen.
Option 2: MyIPTV Player on Windows
Install from the Microsoft Store
Open the Microsoft Store, search for MyIPTV Player and click Get.
Add your playlist
Open Settings > Add new playlist and EPG source. Give it a name, paste your M3U link under Remote channel list and click Add remote list.
Select it and watch
Back in Settings, choose your new playlist, then open Channels.
On a Mac, IPTVX from the Mac App Store is a polished alternative that also runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
Option 3: VLC for a quick test
VLC is free and plays your M3U link without any setup, but it has no TV guide, so it is best for a quick check:
- Open VLC.
- On Windows choose Media > Open Network Stream; on Mac choose File > Open Network.
- Paste your M3U link and click Play. Open the playlist view to switch channels.

PC and Mac IPTV FAQ
Can I watch IPTV in a web browser?
We recommend a desktop app instead. Browsers often can’t play live IPTV streams directly, and apps give you a proper TV guide.
Does watching on my laptop count as a device?
Yes, while it is streaming. With a 2- or 3-device plan you can watch on your laptop and TV at the same time.
Can I connect my laptop to the TV?
Yes, with an HDMI cable. For everyday viewing, though, an app on the TV or a Firestick is more convenient.
